Participant Class

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 2nd, 2026

The Participant Class is limited to high-school and collegiate students between the age of 15 and 28 as of June 29, 2026

Festival activities will include:

  • Master classes with festival faculty and guest artists

  • Solo competition

  • Daily guided warm-up sessions

  • Panel discussions with festival faculty and guest artists

  • Competition recital performances (finalists and winners)

  • Faculty and Guest Artist Recitals

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Participant Class chamber performance

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Side-by-side orchestral excerpts session with festival faculty

  • NEW THIS YEAR: Coffee social with members of festival faculty

  • Opportunities to take private lessons with faculty and guest artists

  • High-school participants under the age of 18 MUST stay in the CSU dorms and purchase the campus meal plan unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please contact us (info below) for questions or concerns.

Housing:

The River Park Campus of Columbus State University contains several campus housing options: Broadway Crossing/Columbus Hall, and The Rankin.

Tuition and Fees:

Participant Tuition - $350 (there is a non-refundable $100 deposit due with your registration)

Optional housing will be available for purchase when registration opens.

Meal Plan (available to high-school participants ONLY) - High-school participants under the age of 18 MUST purchase the meal plan unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The meal plan will cover 10 meals: lunch/dinner on day 1, breakfast/lunch/dinner on days 2 and 3, and breakfast/lunch on day 4.
