2026 Festival Events

REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 2nd, 2026

The Schwob Brass Festival is a four-day event hosted at the Schwob School of Music on the beautiful RiverPark Campus of Columbus State University in Columbus, GA. Attendees will have access to exclusive and inspirational master classes, witness incredible concerts, perform alongside world-class artists, and participate in competitions, all in our world-class facilities.

Day 1

  • Check-In

  • Opening meeting for all minors and parents

  • Opening concert - featuring Schwob Brass Festival and Southeast Trombone Symposium faculty & artists

  • Master classes with Schwob faculty

  • Semi-final round of Collegiate Solo Competition

  • Ensemble rehearsals

Day 2

  • Warm up session with faculty

  • Exhibits open

  • Master classes with guest artists

  • Final round of High-School Solo Competition

  • Ensemble rehearsals

  • Faculty recital

Day 3

  • Warm up session with faculty

  • Coffee social

  • Final round of Collegiate Solo Competition

  • Master classes with guest artists

  • Faculty recital

Day 4

  • Warm up session with faculty

  • Orchestral excerpts classes

  • Panel discussion with faculty

  • Final performance

  • Check out

Time will be held after the final concert for private lessons. Register early to secure your spot.

Day 1 (6/29)

  • Festival check-in: between 9 and 10am

  • Check-out: 9pm

Day 2 (6/30) & Day 3 (7/1)

  • Check-in: 8am

  • Check-out: 9pm

Day 4 (7/2)

  • Check-in: 8am

  • Festival check-out: between 5 and 6pm
